Incorporating the 5 Key Principles of Professional Development into my plan has helped me cover ever aspect from the beginning and introduction to the continual support and help. "High intensity job-embedded collaborative learning that is most effective is not a common feature of professional development across most states, districts and schools in the U.S. (p.6)" Allowing teachers to truly experience technology like their students will allows them to get the full experience. Then, being able to experiment with the technology allows them to experience the educator side of it. With the hands on learning, the modeling of technology use, ongoing support and application to their content areas, teachers are sure to succeed! And if they don't, at least they'll learn from their mistakes, which is still a success! Resources
